Account Manager – Eastern OH/Western PA

The position is responsible for the management and growth for Power Line Supply Company’s electric utility accounts in Eastern OH/Western PA. Though it is an established sales territory, there is also considerable opportunity for growth. Compensation is a combination of both Salary and Commissions.

The primary responsibilities include sales and account management to the investor owned utilities across Eastern OH and PA. This includes prospecting for new accounts, making sales calls to utility customers, developing account relationships, managing a sales budget, and coordinating efforts with: our Customer Service team, other internal departments, and our suppliers.

The position requires daily travel by car within an assigned territory. There are approximately 4-6 overnight stays per month.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ experience in sales, customer service, or inventory management.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced PC/office computer skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

 Preferred Experience:

  • The Electric Utility Industry.
  • Inventory Management.
  • Sales and Account Management.

 Preferred Education:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
